Sherif Thomas
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Sherif Thomas is the visionary Creative Director and co-founder of Fashion Factor, a biannual independent fashion platform based in Dubai. A former banker with 14 years in banking, Sherif made a bold career pivot to redefine the fashion show experience. He brought to life uniquely cinematic runway productions, combining immersive stage design, narrative storytelling, and international curation. Sherif is credited with conceptualizing the signature immersive experiences that set Fashion Factor apart—such as thematic entrances, award ceremonies, and large-scale runway spectacles. His dedication to empowering emerging and established designers has grown the platform into a globally recognized creative launchpad.
Rami Mahmoud
Co-Founder & Executive Producer
Rami Mahmoud brings business acumen and strategic foresight to Fashion Factor as co-founder and Managing Director. With a strong background in event management and brand implementation, Rami oversees operations, partnerships, and execution of large-scale fashion showcases. He is the driving force behind the logistics that enable Fashion Factor to host cinematic productions and manage VIP-level experiences consistently. An active presence in the fashion and creative industries—having founded Rock & Up Investments and Sansation Dubai—Rami champions cultural exchange and market expansion, ensuring Fashion Factor's continued momentum and relevance.
